The CALL is proud to announce the launch of its newest initiative – The Leadership Café.
As leaders, what we have in common on a global level is leadership. We are aware of the deep hunger for leadership in our world. We have first hand experience of the powerful and positive impact of great leadership. And we are each on a leadership journey of our own.
The CALL wants to leverage the collective wisdom of these journeys with the introduction of the virtual Leadership Café. We will harness the power of guided conversations to explore issues concerning our leadership in the world. Gathered together as leaders on a bridge line, we will have rich, diverse, challenging and energizing leadership dialogue.
What is a guided conversation? It is one that begins around a question. A question that will take you to places you could not have imagined when you conceived the question. It is a question whose purpose is to spark your imagination & generate dialogue.
As we prepare for our first Leadership Café, we ask the following question of you, a leader in today’s world:
“What conversation, if begun today, could ripple out in a way that created new possibilities for the future of my global leadership?”
Email your responses to HYPERLINK "mailto: このメールアドレスはスパムボットから保護されています。観覧するにはJavaScriptを有効にして下さい " このメールアドレスはスパムボットから保護されています。観覧するにはJavaScriptを有効にして下さい and look for your question to be the topic of an upcoming virtual Leadership Café discussion.
Pre-registration to participate in a Leadership Café is required. Once you have registered, you will receive a bridge number. If you are in Europe, many of you will be able to call in to a bridge line in your own country. So please specify your location when you register.
DATES/TIMES Monday, September 22, 2008 – 9:00am Eastern Tuesday, October 7, 2008 – 3:00pm Eastern
The CALL is planning its first international retreat for sometime in 2011. We see these Leadership Café calls as a way to begin a global dialogue that will continue in person at the retreat.
We invite you to click here to read a passage from THE ART OF POWERFUL QUESTIONS - Catalyzing Insight, Innovation, and Action, by Eric E. Vogt, Juanita Brown, and David Isaacs. It speaks eloquently to what we want to accomplish.
