On October 7th, The Call-URL hosted our second International Leadership Cafe.

The focus of this leadership cafe was:

What will it take to sustain and expand our leadership learning?

On this call, there were over 45 leaders from about 8 countries present.

Our next International Leadership Cafe will be on November 6.

How would you answer these questions? We would love to hear from you. Contact This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it to register for the November call.

This blog's purpose is to create another platform for all of our voices to be heard and connect in a meaningful way.

From the book "The World Cafe", Shaping Our Futures through Conversations That Matter

“The World Cafe reintroduces us to a world we have forgotten. This is a world where people naturally congregate because we want to be together.  A world where we enjoythe age-old process of good conversation, where we’re not afraid to talk aboutthings that matter most to us. A world where we’re not separated, classified,or stereotyped.  A world of simple greeting, free from technology and artificiality. A world that constantly surprises us with the wisdom that exists not in any one of us but in all of us. And a world where we learn that the wisdom we need to solve our problems is available when we talk together.”

“The World Cafe’ process reawakens our deep species memory of two fundamental beliefs about human life. First, we humans want to talk together about things that matter to us.  In fact, this is what gives satisfaction and meaning to life. Second, as we talk together, we are able to access a greater wisdom that is found only in the collective.”

Understanding Leadership

We are a group of leaders who are creating a tele-class series "De-Coding Leadership based on 4 key principle of Co-active Leadership

Principle 1: Leaders have a Stake/ Clear Direction

Principle 2: Leaders follow their Instincts

Principle 3: Leaders take Full Permission and Responsibility for their Impact

Principle : Leaders Stay

We will be sharing 4  key concepts in this blog that we believe is key to any leaders success.  In our writing and discussions we hope to further our and your understanding of what it means to be an effective leader. We hope this will be a stimulating and productive dialogue.

We believe that  De-coding -breaking down what it takes to lead is key to being a better leader. We intend to get behind the curtain of what leaders do that works and does not work. This is where we all can learn. As Charan wrote in his new book "Leaders at All Levels", in order for leaders to realize their potential they must "deliberately practice" what works, we believe this being true and hope to contribute to your practice as a leader.
